Renzo Piano World Tour in 40 days

After winning the first prize at the annual Renzo Piano World Tour competition for recent architecture graduates, I gained a full scholarship for a 40 days world tour, sponsored by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. This trip unites young architects from different countries on a trip around the world, to visit and study the various buildings of the Renzo Piano Building Workshop.

Me and my fellow travelers, Ricardo Fernandez Gonzalez and Thomas Pepino, started in Athens, and visited more than 20 countries on 4 different continents, making a full trip around the world within the course of 40 days. We documented this unique experience with sketches, photos, and texts, equipped with a sketchbook, a camera, and our critical point of view. This material was then assembled in a book by Lettera Ventidue editions that presents our perspective of the world tour.

Below are some of my favorite sketches that I made during the trip.
